Why does the engine dies almost every time I take my foot offthe gas pedal? I have to work the brake and gas to keep the engine from dying when stopping.

Fuel sensor. Maybe. Take it to an auto parts store and have them scan your car for free, could also be the pump itself. At 75k it should not be from bad plugs or wires, but where are you on your routine maintanince?
