I want to know what are the signs of the oil pump that is going bad in my car and where is it located?

The most obvious would be no/low oil pressure accompanied with engine noise and a light. It is in the oil pan at the rear of the engine. It is driven by a shaft from the distributor, which is driven by the camshaft gear.
