1991 Cadillac Deville Air con- heater

Someone has ran a continuous hot lead to blower motor disconnect and rehook correctly.

The car had not been hot wired in any way but I eventually sorted it out by letting the engine run for a considerable amount of time and let the computer reset itself and that seemed to cure the problem although I did keep playing with the controls so one or other of these operations sorted the problem.
Now I am keeping the battery on charge continuously to avoid it going flat.
