My 2003 CTS Cadillac (with 93K km) turn off on traffic light and the shift stuck in parking position as well as key in ignition slot.
I can start the car and turn it off but wasn’t able to change the shift position.
Only solution was to tow the car home.
Since then, I figure out way to release key and to enable shift movement by disconnecting shift solenoid, so I can use the car.
Problem now, I have permanently:
1. “Anti-Theft system" light on
2. “Traction Control" light on
3. Gasoline level indicator does not work
4. There is no light indicator for shift position
Maybe there are more things that do not work but I did not come across yet.

I should mention that car was in garage for the winter and during thet time I kept the battery disconnected.
Do you
have the same problem?

Sounds as an electric problem or BCM issue
Start by checking fuses and check charging system
Also step on brakes and check if brake lights on or not
Check for codes (B codes)

Right rear fuse block is located in the passenger compartment, under the right side of the rear seat.
