Hi, This may sound random. However, I'm not sure if the Cadillac Catera has a timing belt or chain. If it is a belt, does it have to be replaced as preventive maint. At or about 60,000 miles?
Thanks Dallas Dude

I respect your opinion and knowledge. However, today I took the car in and they said that 100,000 miles is when the timing belt is replaced. Then too I have not seen it written anywhere (not in the owners manual, or manufactures publications) when the belt/tensioner needs service. Please guide me to something that will enlighten the Caddy service dept.
Thanks and Peace
Frank
