2000 Cadillac Catera remote keyless entry will not work

Yesterday I disconnected my battery to clean the terminals, when I re-connected the battery my remote keyless entry will not work. I have disconnected the battery before and never had this problem. I checked all of the fuses and they are all good. I went through the key fob reprogramming instructions also with no luck. Can anyone help me?

Try a new key fob, dealer will need to program
