1999 Cadillac Catera CRANKS RUNS SHUTS DOWN

This car cranks just fine runs just fine then after about 3 to 5 mins shuts down as if you turned off the ign key. Any idea?

after you install them you will have to take it to the dealer for a crank shaft posision sensor relearn through the computer (dealer only on this)

Thats the first I've read about taking to dealer. Do you mean if the car runs after installing the sensor then take to them?

Yes you will, a cps relearn needs to be done, it should run but with a ck engine lite
