I got in the car after driving it and hit the key and it started to turn over then nothing. If you jump the starter with a screw driver it will start and shut back off. It is showing pass key fault.

Most common fault is broken wires at the ignition cylinder that provide the key value to the theft module.

Get 2 keys for your car that has the right restance, get new lock clyinder from auto parts, orange wire under dash, may have to remove knee panel, has black plug plug in new lock use key dont have to turn lock it connects when u put in key, get other key put in switch on colum and try to start, if works just hide the new switch under dash becarful of the new wires cause they will break, this should work, ive done many times, cost is greater if u put lock in colum
