Hello, I'm Danny.

The 1996 model year Mitsubishi Galant does not have a cabin air filter. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

This vehicle does not appear to have one. There is no listing in the manual and there is no listing in some of the popular parts websites for the replacement part. All this is pretty common when they don't have one.
