I see this on most Toyota vehicles. Do you know why? Many times, without an engine light on.

Hello,

The Toyota C1201 code can be tricky to diagnose and fix as it is such a general trouble code.
One of the common causes of this code is large EVAP leak.
Usually, code P0455 and P0441 are associated with it.

Are you getting any code besides the C1201?

The C1201 is the one which signals the vehicle to turn on the check engine light and disable the traction control and VSC.

Let me know what type of issues you are experiencing.
As typically you will get more codes with the C1201.

Thank you.

Yes, usually if the ABS is having issues say on a Prius I will have all three codes. It makes sense now, but this is the only one on this car and no check engine light.

What kind of drivability issues are you having?
And is the code a historical code and not a live one?
