I have the vehicle listed above with a 2.7. When you turn off the ignition there is a buzzing noise from the air speed actuator it lasts for a few seconds. Then you can hear the ECU relay in the under bonnet fuse box click. What’s going on with the relay is this normal? Please note my actuator was fitted and relay way replaced.

This sounds like it is performing a self check or a re-calibration. If it does this every time you shut the vehicle off and the vehicle is driving normally then I suspect it is normal.

Is there a way you can get a recording of it and post it here and I may be able to be more definitive?

When the car is running at random times the rpm goes up to 3,000 rpm's and starts hunting and the air speed actuator sound like it is passing the air through at a very high rate. If you disconnected the actuator the idle goes back to normal. If you plug it back in the rpm goes very high. New actuator was fitted then it goes back to normal idle on its own.

Okay. Let's get the recording and start a new post for this issue. We need to keep it one topic per post because others will not find this issue under this post. Thanks
