Why does my car have a burning smell after driving for only 10 minutes and the hood feels hot?

This sounds like the thermostat is stuck and need tobe replaced, please wait until the engine has cooled down completely before you begin. Here is the location of the thermostat and how to change it out. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
