I was driving on the freeway all of a sudden it slowed down! I can put it in park and neutral, I was able to guide to the side of the road, but will not drive or go in reverse. Checked the ATF and it is full, but it looks and smells burnt. I am praying I do not need a new transmission. Someone said it could be the transmission solenoid. Help! I am disabled and this car is all I have got. She revs up just fine.

If it is burnt and smells you will probably have clutch pack failure, you will have to get this checked out by a transmission specialist, they can do a series of tests that will give you an exact answer to what is going on and how much it will cost.
