The car starts up just fine when it is cold and it runs fine as well. When you shut it off after 15 minutes of driving it acts like the battery is dead, but I tested it and it is fine. I then changed the fuel pressure regulator and it started after that and the same result occurred. Any suggestions?

When the problem occurs, if your saying the starter won't crank, check the starter circuit. The purple wire at the starter solenoid S terminal should be hot with the key in the crank position. Did you try cranking in neutral? Did you use a digitalmultimeter across battery posts, everything off, what was the reading? Also, take second reading across battery posts, key in the crank position. What is the reading?
