My buick is leaking coolant. I can't pinpoint the location but it's dripping from in between the transmission/oil pans. However, I'm pretty sure it's coming from somewhere up above, perhaps the water pump. The part I'm confused about is that it's not only leaking while it's running but it's leaking while it's not running too. I don't know what to do about it and it's a primary vehicle. I don't need to blow the engine but I can't afford to take it in to a mechanic so I'd like to do it myself. Thanks a lot.

Try using dental mrrors and good lighting. Finding a leak can be a real challenge sometimes, but keep looking and remove components if needed.

IF you can't find it, then a shop may be the solution.
