1995 Buick Riviera Electrical Short?

"Check Engine" light was on. So, I tried putting a paper clip into terminals where the OBD machine hooks up(I know stupid idea). It shocked for just a moment, didn't smoke or no electrical burning smell. But now all the gauges do NOT work, the heater seems to be stuck on in defrost. Power door locks don't work. Heater and ac controls don't work.
everything was fine before this mistake.
Please help me to locate the problem with my 1995 Buick Riviera.

Check all your fuses first, you may have blown them as you shorted out the computer. You may bet lucky and that's all that there is wrong. Your fuse block is at the left side of the i/p. Also pull th fuse on your heater and t hat may reset it so it will work correctly. If not you'll have to have a pro look at it.
