2005 Buick Rendezvous problems with code reader

2005 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl Automatic

my service engine light has just came on. I hooked up my code reader to the port. The code reader would not turn on. I used a friends code reader. I also got auto zone to try there code reader. The same problem with all of them. They wont turn on. Could you give me some trouble shooting tips?

Check the front aux fuse in the underhood fuse block. It's #32 make sure the fuse is good. If the fuse is good you may have a problem with the GM high speed LAN data line, or may have a problem with a module. If you get stuck post back.
