2004 Buick Rendezvous Windshield Wipers keep locking

2004 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The windshield wipers keep getting caught on one another. I've checked to be sure that they are the correct size and they are. 24" on drivers side and 22" on passenger side but the passenger wiper catches on the driver wiper and stays locked until I physically unlock them. Happening more frequently or maybe I'm just noticing with all the snow.
Hoping someone can help me!

It sounds like there may be a problem with the wiper linkage. The linkage is located under the cowl (at the base of the windshield). There are rubber grommits that can wear and cause the timing to be off. Remove the coel and check for play in the linkage.
