Heater problem
2003 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

On the passenger side, the air on the face vents blows full force, but no hot air. No heat at all comes out of the passenger side. On the driver side, a little heat comes out, but really not that much air. On the driver side, everything blows full force (defrost, floor), but not the facial vents. Little to no air comes out. So, really are there two problems or could they be related (no heat passenger and little force air on driver face vents)? Do you think it is the thermostat. Other than thermostat replacement, should I look for something else?

Also, all power windows work fine, but the driver side making a terrible noising when moving up/down. Sounds like something is about to break or pop. I quit using, but how could I fix this on my own.

Hi:
You will need to remove the door panel to see what the problem may be. Most likely, something may need lubericated, or part of the linkage may have come apart. There is no way to tell until you look.

As far as the heat is concerned, is the engine warming up to a normal operating temp? It should average around 200 degrees. If that is ok, the t-stat is most likely fine which means you need to get under the dash and start checking for a stuck or damaged vent door. This isn't a fun job, but it can be done.

Im having the same issue with my heat. We kept bleeding it while it ran for an hour or more and it eventually was warming up and blowing hot air but as soon as I stated driving it the temp gauge went down again and it was back to where we started. Colder air on passenger side and weak warm air on drivers. Did u get yours to work? What did u have to do? I'm no mechanic so I'm limited on my knowledge under the hood. Videos work best if available.
New head gaskets and thermostat were put in by previous owner.

Sounds like the actuator is either out of adjustment or not functioning properly. I would remove the panel to inspect it while you are operating the temp to see if it is moving properly.
