The blower switch in our 2003 Buick Rendevous has burn't out and I have to replace it. Can you please tell me the process required to change the switch. I have been told that the blower switch along with the climate controls etc is one unit.

Yes that is all one part called the HVAC control module. remove the cluster trim plate bezel surrounding it, then you will see screws retaining the module. remove those and the module will pull straight out , then just disconnect electrical connector.

Thank-you for your reply, does the bezel around the switch unsnap or are there screws?

No , that's actually the hard part, sorry i forgot to list those steps.

first remove the knee bolster panel by removing the bottom screws holding it on. then pull on the bolster to release the upper clips. you may have to remove a smaller panel to access it, if so the panel will simply snap off. once bolster is off you have to remove the driver info. center (DIC) switch from the trim plate bezel and loosen the steering column bracket. lower the steering column and remove the trim plate bezel .
