02' Rendezvous. Condenser replacement recommendations

I have a 2002 buick rendezvous cx front wheel drive. I know my condenser is leaking and needs replacing. I was told by a repair place that thye recommend of other things to be replaced by them when replacing the condenser "as a precaution". Does anyone know what should be replaced with a condenser if anything. It is the difference between $750 and $1450. I do not want to replace anything unless it absolutely needs it. Thanks :D :D
