1998 Buick Regal

Recently bought the car. The seller said there was a leak in the break line (not sure of which one). Filled up the fluid and upon braking the pedal has to go all the way to the floor to get any reaction from the brakes. Would it be a line or possibly the master brake cylinder? How much is a part for this issue?

Your brakes are a hydraulic system. If there if a leak in this system from anywhere it will cause air to enter the system. Once air enters the system you will have no pedal. I would suggest having that line repaired properly, and have the brakes bleed of all air.
