1997 Buick Regal Milleage?

1997 Buick Regal Automatic

I'm a 19 year old female and have no Idea about a car but my father bought me a 1997 Buick Regal a week ago from a family whose mother had died and there was no point in them having the car because they all had new vehicles but anywho. To my suprise there was no owners manual inside the car an whats my biggest concern is the Milleage.I would like to know if someone could tell me how I find the milleage on my car. Ive tried lookin at the dash as soon as it starts but its not there and ive also tried pressing all the buttons lol go figure and all it shows is trip A & B. Please someone help me :( and another thing is the car has been trying to run hot, I think that it was a hole somewhere that my godfather said he fixed but Ive been keeping a close eye on the gauges.I see from looking at blogs that overheating is a common problem in this model of car. Is it a recall matter?
