Engine Performance problem
1991 Buick Regal 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100+ miles

The car generally runs great but after in town driving for a bit, 20 - 30 minutes it will die when you come to a stop, but will re-start as if nothing ever happened. Once it dies once it will continue to stall when coming to a stop several times. Some times times will run great not stall at all. It seems to run fine at highway speeds.

Has the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked for vacuum leaks and the EGR?

No check engine light.
The ERG has been cleaned.
No vacuum leaks were found.
I took it to another repair station and they replaced the CAM sensor and fuel filter. Will see if it helped.

It seems to run well for a bit but then began stalling just as it had before. Same problem as before. I have been battlng this since last July. I have also had the spark plugs and spark wires replaced and the air control module replaced. I am stumped and about 1000.00 poorer at this point. Any ideas?
