Electrical problem
1988 Buick Regal 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

I've had the coil packs and ignition module checked, they're good, changed the crank sensor and the car starts, was missing, tried to restart but it wouldn't, had to redo firing order, thanks to a friend having it wrong, It started an ran great, even 3 hours later when I tried it. The next morning it wouldn't. I checked for battery voltage at the 6 pin connector on the coils, it was 1.03, not battery. I crossed the A & B on the datalink connector to check the codes, 12 over and over, but the cooling fan came on when I crossed them, thought that was odd. Tried to start it and it fired for 5 secs, then for 2, and back to nothing. Is there a cam sensor that I can check and what are the specs, could it be the oil pressure switch, or the ECM? Was leaning toward ECM, but need a pros thoughts! Thanks Thump

ECM wiggle connector while helper starts and tap on ECM lightly while cranking. If she lights ECM GM had some issues with circuit opening in ECM

Thanks alot Doc, post on results tomm.
It was the ICM, AutoZone was the one that tested it and said it was good, teach me to trust someone else when it comes to testing something. Won't happen again. Thanks again for your time!
