The car ran fine this morning, but when my wife started out this afternoon, the car died. It turns over fine, seems to be power from the battery. You can hear the fuel pump running, it seems like there is no spark to fire it up. I am going to check the crankshaft position sencor, and I thought of pulling 1 plug wire and grounding it to see if there is spark. I will also check the timing belt. Is there anything else I can do?

You will need to check both the injectors for a pulse, do this with a noid light, then check the DIS mudule, if injectors are getting a signal. Make sure the bulkhead connector on the passenger side is tight where it goes thru the firewall...
