In test says alternator is bad, but I took it out and had it tested and they said it was good. In vehicle test says its only putting out maybe 13 volts, but out it puts out fine I am way confused any help would be appreciated.

First of, check the fuses (circled). With a voltmeter and the engine running, check voltage at the alternator B+ port and ground. Record voltage. Your alternator should have about 14 volts. If it is less than 13.0 volts, your alternator is bad. Check voltage at the battery. Compare voltage with alternator voltage. If you have more than 0.2 volts loss, check the fusible link, and break in the wiring circuit.
