My heater wants to go to go to auto, the auto temp drops to 60 and the fan goes on high. The only way to stop it is to hold the off botton and then the minute I let go it goes on auto and does it again, also it its beeping all the time this is happening. Once in a while it doesn't do it but evintually it will beep and the temp drops etc. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Actually it sounds like there is a short in the thermostat / control unit itself. You need to have that checked by a dealer. They will have the proper test equipment to check it.

Let me know what you find.
