1993 Buick Park Avenue '93 Buick Park Avenue keeps stalling

1993 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Automatic

Symptoms: Car jerks while accelerating (sometimes even while its not), all warning lights come on, steering and brake fluid ceases flowing, and car dies.

Engine codes: 18 and 41

Previous attempts to fix: Replaced cam sensor. Car ran fine for 2 weeks then symptoms started again.

Try looking at the spark plugs they must be the smooth surface ones look for carbon tracking also could be a fuel injector breaking down im deal with some of the same problems too

Thank you. I was thinking it was something with the fuel injector. What did you mean by "carbon tracking?"

There was a factory bulletin that said not to use ribed spark plugs as you should use smooth porcelan ones they show heavy streaks of cracking as the spark seeks ground other than through the spark plug electrode
