I'm having trouble with my car in reguards to a check engine light and the car idles very high. And now doesn't start. I've checked the basics air/fuel/spark and the motor have it. Since the car is a 1993 park avenue I having trouble finding a code reader. Could you give me some possible sensor problems?Iac?Pvc?Please help.I have a haynes manual, but it doesn't show the same parts. As for the iac, pvc ect. Or do you know of other souce books that may have the info.

Start by checking for a source of major vacuum leaks. Does your engine have the egr pipe that goes to the intake manifold near the throttle body? That is a common source of problem similar to yours.
