Engine Performance problem
1992 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Car runs fine till fans kick on at 190-195? Then the car starts to act like not geting fuel. This happens if driving or just runing in driveway. Sometimes kickes off but will start back up first turn of key. Fuel pump was checked good. Replaced starter with brand new one. Regulator is good. Soon as car cools down runs fine till heats back up. No check engine codes, but light does flicker on and goes out after restart

Hello gHeat
When there is no engine light, one the sensors may be lazy but still within parameter and can't trigger "check engine light" yet.
Sensors involved in fuel mixture when engine reached operating temperature are:
A faulty coolant sensor.
A dirty or defective airflow sensor
A faulty air temperature sensor
A bad Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor.
First check the charging voltage to make sure that extra load is not causing the problem.
