1991 Buick Park Avenue Dash vents

This car has auto climate control. When it needs to, the ac will engage. But the car will not switch to the dash vents. The cold air comes out the defrost and floor vent only. How do I fix it so that the cold ac air will come out the dash vents? As it stands, there is no air at all coming out those vents. I don't find anyway to manually switch between vents.

There is a mechanism behind ur glovebox it has a metal arm controlling two vents in the blower box, check for proper operation of the arm on the mechanism. Good luck

Your lucky day I have my dash completely apart I can see the metal on my firewall anyhow there is a a little pump like thing up way under the dash it controls 2 doors that let airflow to the top vents the pump may be bad. Good luck post if u have any questions.
