Transmission problem
1989 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Have a small steady leak of fluid under radiator-have used Lucas Tranny treatment still there! Am going to investigate line into radiator and hopefully stop it!
Need detail as to how much fluid/tranny treatment to put in after leak is stopped-PLEASE!

Hi Sandy,

Once you have the leak fixed all you need to do is check the tranny fluid level. To check have vehicle at normal operating temp, with engine running and in park check fluid level. There is a low mark and a full mark and inbetween is a crosshatch pattern.
