How do you access the window lift mechanism on the drivers door (power windows) in order to repaire damaged tracks?

Most doors are 2 pieces of metal riveted together, u will have to break the rivets and rerivet it when u put it back together, some cars have a big enough opening to get your hands in. Goodluck
