Rough idle when starting

I have a 95 Buick Lesabre 3800 engine, with 89,000 miles on it. I had the gas tank, fuel pump, filter and oil changed last week. Yesterday the check engine light came on when I was driving it, but the car ran great. This morning when I started it the engine light came on and it idles rough then smooths out. No weird smells. After the cars idle smoothed out it ran great. Any ideas. Thanks

First thing I would check would be the fuel pressure regulator. Make sure that fuel is not coming out of the fitting where the vacuum line hooks up. Also I would have the codes scaned. You could have a bad upper intake or gasket that is bad. If you have the car scaned for codes and find some codes for the EGR then I would pull the upper intake off and inspect the port that the EGR tube fits into for punctures and cracks.
