1993 buick lesabre 130,000 miles 3.8 engine. Does anyone have a good diagram or picture of where both the positive and negative cable attach to the car opposite of the battery post end.

Sorry for the late reply.

Note the diagram for battery cables. It shows two positive cables, one goes to the starter solenoid, the other circuit goes to underhood fuse box. The negative cable attaches to right side of engine.

Sometimes the battery ground cable, at engine, is buried and hard to get at. Sometimes I make a new ground cable and attach that end to the alternator bracket. Seems to work ok. Just make sure the cable doesn't interfere with pulleys--belts--exhaust manifold or anything. If you crimp a battery cable end, make real sure you get a good crimp on it, You don't want a battery cable end coming loose, under the hood.

I realize this is an old post. You probably no longer own this vehicle. In the future hope you don't have an vehicle issues, but, if you do, keep the site in mind. They are always trying to improve the site and it's free.

Have a good day.
