The rear break line on my car rusted out in front of the drivers side rear wheel and is leaking. Can anyone tell me what the two couplers are in the two break lines. It would be real easy to remove it, from the rusted line, when I change the line if they are not nessesary?

The steel lines are made up as one piece, th left wheel one has both the flare nuts on it when you buy it. You need to know what length, and iso or sae. Yours is ISO. Tip: Make sure you can open the bleeder screws!

The two couples are Proportioning Valves. They need to be installed to regulate the pressure to the rear wheel cylinders. If you attemp to repair the line make sure and double flare the lines and use compression fittings and NOT unions. Its Much safer
