Power Window not working

Every few months the driver's side window won't go down. No noise - completely dead. The window won't work no matter how many times I press the button. But the next morning the window will work the first time I press the botton and will work consistantly for a couple of months until it happens again. Each time it fixes itself the next day. I tried jiggling the button, pounding the door panel and slamming the door thinking it might be a loose wire but nothing fixes it until the next day when it works like nothing happened. What's wrong with it?

Hello,

There is a door and window control module that goes bad in these cars making the window not work from time to time. Here are some guides to help you see what I am talking about. You will need to remove the door panel to access the module.

and

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

The driver side door/window electric control does not work to operate any component throughout the car.

With the key in the run position you should have battery voltage to the orange wire to the drivers door window switch? Also the black wire with a white stripe to the drivers window switch should have 2 ohms or less to ground.
