Does 2CarPros have a video showing how to pry the tensioner pulley away from the belt? The key view of the process is exactly what object the pry bar pries against. If the pry bar pries against a bolt, or even the tensioner pulley itself, the view should show that clearly.

Hello,

Are you trying to replace the belt?
If so, to take the belt off you need to put a 15mm socket on a ratchet (or barker bar). Put the socket on the bolt of the tensioner pulley and pull it counterclockwise (you are not prying against anything).

Check out this helpful video:

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Thanks, that helped. Though the narrator/demonstrator had his shoulder blocking the camera view, just at the moment when he counterclockwise rotated the tension pulley bolt. This is a fairly clear demonstration, however.
My expectation of having to pry the belt tensioner loose came from experience with another vehicle.
