I have a 1997 buick LeSabre that has a bad sending unit. There are two different types available. One is coded as HEN/HER and the other is CRD.

How do I know which one to order? I can find nothing on line that tells me.

NAPA thought the HEN/HER would work.

Hello
Thanks for the donation

Is this a Custom or Limited LeSabre? Which sending unit are you replacing?

Thanks for using 2CarPros. Com!

They both look almost identical, but not interchangeable. HEN/HER is meant for late 1997 - 1998,

CRD is meant for 1996 - early 1997.

You may want to check your manufacture date (should be on driver door VIN tag) for the month/year of mfg. Jan - June is considered early, July - December is late. But I would really check with your local dealership. Have your VIN number ready and ask them which fuel sending unit will work.
