1997 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 190k miles

hi I just purchased this car and I noticed that the interior lights dont work. The automatic door locks dont work either. I checked the fuses for both and they are good. I also checked the lamps and they are good too. When I use the key fob I can hear a little sound of a click by the glove box. I have done some research on this and it seems that the two might be tied together, another thing I was thinking is maybe a previous owner disconnected a switch (or whatever make the lights come on when the the door is opened, because maybe that switch was not allowing the lights to shut off? (Just a thought)). Any help or pointing me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Tim

The clicking you hear is the actuator for the door locks when ypu push your key fob. As far as your lights go they are connected to yoru body module and if your switches are working ok then your module may be bad. You might get away with reprogramming your module to make the lights work, but dealers will get about $100 for doing that.
