1997 Buick Lesabre Buick Lesabre surges

Im having a problem with what feels like surges in my lasabre. When i drive at highway speeds and the engine is warmed up it tends to feel like my engine is surging. It seems like a very common problem with these cars, but I cant find a definite answer to fix it. I took it in to a couple shops and they all said its hard to pinpoint it because the check engine light isn't on. (they all told me different possible solutions from spark plugs to oxygen sensor to fuel pump to engine coolant temperature sensor and so on.

Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard

Thanks for the quick reply I guess I can add them to my list of things to check.

I just dont understand why I cant get a specific answer to what appears to be a very common problem with these cars.

Your problem is not a simple fix it requires extensive diagnostics has to be done to get to the root of the problem-
