Engine Performance problem
1997 Buick Lesabre Engine Size unknown Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 158800 miles

I recently purchased a 1997 Buick leasbre on Jan. 25th, 2008. After 6 days, all of a sudden the check engine light came on. I went into the store and the car wouldn't crank or start. The car dealer fixed the problem( I thought) and said the upper intake gasket was blown. Now I have had the car for 7 days after it has been repaired and it will not start. After warming up the car for about a minute the car died and the battery light came on. I tried to start the car again and again it died after a couple of seconds. After it died this time, the check engine light, temperature light, engine oil light and battery light came on. I checked the engine oil and coolant and they were both ok. I even had the battery charged and the car still will not start but you can hear it crank. Any ideas as to what may be the problem?

If it won't restart, determine what's missing, the engine needs three things to run, Spark at all plugs, gas to all cylinders, and compression in all cylinders, tho an engine may run lacking one in one cylinder, it won't run very well!
