I'm not too familiar with computerized cars. Will a bad water pump make the car not start? Or should I be looking for something else?

Your car will still start with a faulty water pump. I don't advise driving it very far though. If it won't start. Please supply the symptoms. Ie. Not turning over when turn ignition key. Turning over but not firing up?
