I need to replace the turn signal switch I believe. Something 'snapped' and it no longer stays in the up - right hand turn position. Left hand signal still works. I know I need to remove steering wheel and column cover. Can you provide more specific detail of tools needed and will replacing the switch be obvious once I have access to it? I believe there is a plug in at the dash board.

You really should pick up a repair manual, it will tell you how, and what tools are needed. You will need a steering wheel puller, and a toll to push down the steel plate that locks the steering wheel when it's in park. A round steel clip holds the plate down, remove, and the turn switch is right there. Mickey-d
