1993 Buick Lesabre car stops when breaking.

My car wants to stop when putting the breaks on, mainly at stop lights and sometimes going down the road. It is also making a knocking sound. What could be wrong.

Do you have a check engine light or has flashed?

Last major tune-up and what was replaced and adjusted

Try cleaning out the throttle body/ check the idle air control valve/EGR system and the throttle position sensor.
