1993 Buick Lesabre Blower Motor Malfunction

When I access the climate control unit, the car makes sounds when hitting different buttons but no air is being blown. Volt-tested the plug into the blower motor, and registers 12v. A friend "hot wired" the blower from a battery charger at 12v and the blower DID come on. All fuses are intact. Am confused that the blower works but plug delivers 12v. Thanks!

Problem cpould be th HVAC control module or the blower resistor -

Sir if you're not electrically incline seek professional help this is not a simple thing to do or for us to guide you thru its not that easy -Sorry! Get the blower resistor checked out 1st-this is the one that controls the blower motor speed by increasing and decreasing resistances in the circuit-
