i can not get a battery till the weekend. Is there anyway I can make a dead battery last a little longer? Even a day. Any advice? I can jump start it but after and it will run fine but after I let it sit for a couple of hours it wont start on its own? Anything I can do?

You can take it to a local autoparts store and get it charged. If it has a short or bad cell it won't charge, but if weak a charge may make it last a little longer.
Have alt. Tested while there, it is free.
