When I try to start the car for the first time in the morning, it shuts right off, then the 2nd time it will start. Runs good until it warms up then the idle is rough and when you shift it to reverse or drive the idle drops real low and sounds like it wants to die. Once your moving it runs great

Can be several problems, first, when was the last complete tune up? Filters? Wires? Then check for Vacuum leaks, use a can of spray throttlebody cleaner, spary around vac lines and intake manifold, if the speed of the engine changes, you found a leak, fix it! Then if the check engine light is on, read the codes. The IAC(idle air control) manages the idle air intake, it's bolted to the throttle body, and could be the problem.

Wouldnt hurt to clean out the throttle body!
