1990 Buick Lesabre My heater stopped working

I was wondering what happened to my cars heat. It will kind of work on the lowest setting but after u turn it up anymore it makes this humming kind of sound. Any idea on how to fixe it?

Is the sound coming from the blower motor? The bearing in it may have gone bad.

Hi:
My guess is that the blower motor is bad. This may sound crazy, but when it's making the noise, put your ear under the dash on the passanger side. Let me know if that is where the sound is coming from.
